Every summer we turn our fashion radar to the festival goers wardrobe and look for inspired statement pieces and aspirational style.  Long gone are the days where a pair of wellies, some cut-offs and a practical jacket is all you needed as festival style is now the foundation of every stylish summer wardrobe.  This season in particular is about key pieces hitting the festival scene.  The bohemian kimono is a perfect festival must have and looks great over shorts and a simple vest.  The shorts this year are sleek, simple and leather and even the humble dungaree is everywhere thanks to Cressida Bonas

 

More importantly though is what is happening this season with festival hair and I am pleased to say the flower garlands that have been adorning many heads at festivals over the years are now not as common place but the bandana is back and offers a far more rock n roll vibe.  The bandana look can be created easily by pairing a couple of the Popband headbands together - my personal favourite combo is wild thing and black glitter!
