Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month takes place all this month (March 2014).

To help raise awareness we've designed a special Popband. The 'Azure' Popband is teal with one of our contemporary silver beads. A percentage from all sales of this Popband will be going to the Ovarian Cancer Action Group to help with their research.

"Ovarian cancer is the biggest gynaecological killer of UK women, with UK survival rates amongst the worst in Europe. Three quarters of women are diagnosed once the cancer has already spread, making treatment more difficult. That is why awareness is so important, to drive forward improvements in detection, treatment and ultimately survival."

The Ovarian Cancer Action group funds cutting edge research at the UK’s only centre dedicated solely to ovarian cancer research at Imperial College London. They raise awareness of the symptoms of the disease by funding national campaigns and act as an advocate for those whose lives have been affected by ovarian cancer.
